Some of my favorite things -

- planning to buy one or two special books and bringing home a stack of ten or twenty

- finding the perfect place on my shelves for my new books

- the feeling of walking past my bookshelf and noticing the new books that I've added

- finishing a book and getting to scan my shelves to look for my next read

- when I'm two-thirds of the way through a book and I just can't put it down

- the dusty, papery smell of an old book

- the sweet, clean smell of a new book

- deckled or dyed edges

- rearranging my bookshelves just to spend time with all of my books
